Health and Safety

Health and Safety (IMPORTANT PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

Leicester North West CommUnity and its Trustees and Volunteers have an open door policy.

LNWC is aware that health and safety is an on going process and emphasis on practicing and taking responsibility for self and others safety by promoting good conduct and actions through awareness, knowledge and understanding.

The Second and Third party facilities and buildings that are used by LNWC have their rules and this is communicated in various ways depending on the facility used and type of sessions and activities.

The communication may be in the form of verbal, written, notices, signs, induction process, and tour of the facility or through second and third party organisations by certification.

It is important that everyone must make the effort to be aware of the communication and understand them and practice accordingly within their roles and level of involvement as volunteers, participants, users, visitors and other organisations.

Anyone that does not understand or is not aware or has any concerns should raise the concerns to the relevant parties or LNWC trustees.

Leicester North West CommUnity trustees are committed to ensuring that all reasonable steps are taken to prevent any harm, loss or injury. This is only achievable with the co-operation of all involved by acting responsibly and providing information honestly and accurately as possible to prevent any misunderstanding or confusion.

The risk assessment are done and when / where applicable and this is communicated accordingly written or verbal.
